2008 Build

We are started!

During June volunteers worked with HFH Board Members and this year's family members to frame the outside walls for the new Habitat Home.  While the volunteer crew worked on the walls, TOAD Construction continued their work at the building site to finish the hole.  Water and sewer were stubbed out, and perimeters were set for the foundation.

Below, Construction Foreman, Dave King, and volunteer, Neil Berger, work on the framing.

Above, Renee Farnam, Habitat recipient, and son, Sebastian, work on the framing.

The work onsite will begin as soon as the foundation has been poured - about the middle of July.  Please check the work calendar or call us at 283-7797 for up-to-date news.

The regular work days will be Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.  Each day will begin at 9:00 AM.

It's easy to volunteer.  Just give us a call at (907) 283-7797.  We'll be happy to have you - for an hour or for a day!
